The Parish Board of Education is now accepting nominations to fill three openings on the Board for three year terms. Candidates should be registered members of the parish but do not need to have a child in school. Meetings are held every other month. The new term begins in June 9, 2011. There is a nomination form in today’s bulletin. Feel free to nominate yourself or someone you think would have an interest in the Parish Board of Education. Deadline for placing names in nomination is May 23. A lottery will be held on May 29 to draw three names for the Board.
