Early on the morning of Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, St. Stephen's Boy Scout Troop 104's camping trailer and its contents were stolen from where it is locked and stored near Wilmington and Arendes.

Scoutmaster Michael Lohff appeared on at least two local newscasts, hoping to spread awareness which might lead to recovery of the trailer. As time goes by, this is increasingly unlikely.

Gary Nipper, father of one of our recently minted Eagle Scouts, has set up a GoFundMe to replace the trailer and its contents -- and to prevent Michael Lohff from shouldering any financial responsibility for the loss.
