Dear parents, staff, and friends of SSP School,

Happy Friday! I have waited 3 seasons to see with my own eyes, the magic of a live SSP 8th-grade play under the direction of Dr. David Borgmeyer & company.  This year’s production was well worth the wait! WOW! If you have not witnessed the magic yourself, you have two more opportunities, tonight and Saturday night.  You’ll be glad that you came and supported this major 8th-grade fundraiser! Thank you to all of those who had a role in this production, big or small!

On a personal note, I will be traveling to Kentucky this weekend to spend time with my Appalachian kin to celebrate Thanksmas! I will not be here on Monday or Tuesday. You will be in good hands with the combined team of Amanda Quinn and Carol Marinaro (lead teacher). They know how to contact me if the need arises. So, this will be my official Thanksgiving greeting to you and your family.  

Thank you for entrusting us with your most valued treasure, your children. We never take that responsibility for granted. Thank you for your unwavering support and partnership as educators of your children. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to do what we love.  This is the time to thank God for all his many blessings in our lives, for the love of God, for faith, for family, and for friends. When I count my blessings, you and your children are near the top of the list.  Have a blessed Thanksgiving and God’s peace.
