Dear parents, teachers, and friends of SSP School,
Happy Friday! Welcome to November and the weekend! I hope this finds you well. It was an interesting week at SSP. With Halloween falling in the confines of the work week, we had a rare Wednesday off in observance of All Saints Day. This was a new experience for me, having November 1st off in more than 20 years. What did you think? Let a BOE or PTO member know the pros and cons of having this day off for future calendar scheduling.
We had Dragons from St. Mary’s Southside HS performing service at SSP today. This reminds me that this weekend is the final OPEN HOUSE date for Catholic and Private HS. I posted a link on page 1 and some high school ads on page 6 of these Notes.
Finally, a tip of the hat to Mrs. Nancy Anglo and her 6th-grade homeroom for educating us about saints. The annual 6th grade Living Saint Museum was a hit. See page 2 for a couple of pictures from this event.
Have a wonderful weekend and God’s Peace…
