Dear parents, teachers, and friends of SSP School.
Happy Friday and welcome to Christmas break! This is one of the longer Christmas breaks that I have scheduled. It is a much-deserved break for these very hardworking and dedicated teachers and support staff. Please allow these good people to shut down during this scheduled time off. We will attempt to solve the challenges of this world together beginning in January 2023! We hope that you have quality time with your family during these next two weeks!
Please note that I am attempting this FN without my trusty editors. I am challenging myself to string together nouns, verbs, and punctuation in a competent fashion! My apologies if I am not successful. In addition to the NOTES this week, I am attaching a parent note from Father Chris Martin and the Parent Guardian Survey Results from the All Things New committee.
What a wonderful week: We had caroling taking place all over the City this week; Drs. Borgmeyer and the Choral Club are phenomenal ambassadors for SSP School. The second-graders celebrated their First Penance last night. The Pre-K, the Beginning & Concert Bands, as well as the Choral Club concerts put us into the Christmas spirit. One of my favorite Christmas songs by Harry Connick Jr. is “When My Heart Finds Christmas”. Thanks to our talented students, dedicated teachers, parents, and volunteers I am already there! Thank you for a wonderful 2022. I am encouraged and looking forward to an even more prosperous 2023! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
