Dear parents, teachers, and friends of SSP School,

Happy Friday, and welcome to the weekend! A warm sunshine makes everything seem much more manageable; I hope you had a few minutes of soaking in vitamin D today!

We have two food opportunities this weekend at SSP: a Fish Fry tonight until 7 pm and a BBQ following the Sunday Sunset Mass at 4:30 pm.  We had a respectable attendance last week; we hope to top that this weekend!   New and potential families were also invited; you have a good opportunity to welcome these new families into the SSP family!

Thank you to Deacon Dana for leading an All School Stations of the Cross this afternoon.  On Monday morning, we will have another opportunity to pray (the rosary) as a school community. Please have your child bring their rosary if they have their own. We will be praying for the Lorenz family. Thomas will have a challenging few days ahead of him. We want the family to know we care about him and are praying for him.  Our students are invited to add purple to their uniforms on Monday.  PURPLE is Thomas's favorite color, and we hope our solidarity and prayers support Thomas on the next leg of his journey.
