Dear parents, teachers and friends of SSP School,
Happy Friday. Thank you for your patience with us these past two days. The last batch of weather was interesting and left us not prepared to open our doors today. We finally got "dug out" near 2 pm today. It was a long day for some of us. I will touch base with the teachers next week and exchange notes, see what worked well, what we can improve should we need to have virtual learning days in the near future. I'm ready for spring, regardless of what Punxsutawney Phil predicted!
Mrs. Wobbe told me I was not crystal clear in my ask in the first blurb on page 1 ... the volunteers wanted would be, for example, a group that could've helped us to remove snow on short notice so that all of us could've returned to school this morning. I was told, if I ask, they will come ... parents and parishioners love SSP parish and school! Thanks in advance.
Congratulations once again to the newly confirmed young adults in our parish. Wednesday night was a special evening!
I hope to see many of you at the Gala tomorrow evening. If we don't connect, have a blessed weekend, stay warm and well!
Stay SSP Strong and God's Peace,
D. Greg Sturgill
