Dear parents, teachers, and friends of SSP School,
What a week! The extremes in temperatures were challenging but we “weathered it!” Some people have begun counting down the days; I didn’t know we were that close, but it snuck up on me (us) again. Five more days for the Class of 2022; 10 more for Pre-K to Grade 7 students and teachers.
Thank you once again to Band Director, Ann Dolan and Choral Music teachers, David and Anne Borgmeyer. It was good to see so many parents join us yesterday afternoon at Music Sharing. What an event; the first all-school assembly in my nearly two-year tenure at SSP. I am looking forward to more of these in the future. We’ve had two situational masking events recently; our community has responded wonderfully to both! Thank you.
Congratulations to Excellence In Education winner, middle school Math/Literature, and Grade 7 homeroom teacher, Mr. Gerry Glenn!
We are still looking for 3 qualified educators to teach at SSP for the ’22-’23 school year. Thank you to those who gave us great leads. We have half of our Kindergarten team in place; we feel truly blessed that Mrs. Carol Anne Lorenz said YES!
Thank you for your unwavering support of Catholic education and SSP School. Have a great weekend, Stay SSP Strong, and God's Peace,
D. Greg Sturgill
