June 20, 2023In the charity of your prayers, please remember the family of lifelong St. Stephen parishioner Joan Federer Lawder ('44), who died June 20, 2023.
Joan is the daughter of Holly Hills developer William and Marie Federer; sister of the late Fr. Bill, SJ (SSP '35), the late Natalie (SSP '37), the late Doris (SSP '39), and the late Richard (SSP '41); wife of Fortis (Mike) Lawder; mother of Mike (SSP '68), Margie (SSP '70), Mark (SSP '71), Tom (SSP '73), Ce-Ce (SSP '75), Dave (SSP '77), Joe (SSP '80), and Julie (SSP '81); grandmother to many, including SSP alumni Liz O'Brien (SSP '02), Katie O'Brien (SSP '04), Jack O'Brien (SSP '08), Tess O'Brien (SSP '09), and Annie O'Brien (SSP '12).
Visitation is Friday, June 23, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Kutis Affton. Funeral Mass is Saturday, June 24, at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen Protomartyr.
