Registration opens in late January.

We are pleased to add CYC Golf to our athletic offerings at SSP! As this is new for us, we are still navigating a number of things and very much appreciate your patience.

Players on the SSP Golf Team must meet at least one of the following criteria:

• Attend St. Stephen Protomartyr School
• Be a registered parishioner of St. Stephen Protomartyr Catholic Church
• Live within the parish boundaries

If you do not meet one of the above criteria, please contact the Athletic Director (bottom of this page).

The SSP Athletic Association's annual family maximum does NOT apply to golf.
 

Training League

• Ages: Grades 2-4
• Cost: $100
• Season: Four 55-minute classes from late-May to mid-June
• Location: To be determined (likely Tower Tee)
• Attire: Golf shirt (SSP golf shirts will be offered for sale but are not required for the Training League)
• Equipment: Golfer must provide his/her own golf clubs (driver, iron(s), and putter, at minimum).
• We will need parent volunteers; contact the Athletic Director if you can help.

 

Junior League

• Ages: Grades 5-8
• Cost: $170
• Season:Consists of three 75-minute lessons and six 9-hole rounds of golf, competing against the other schools in the South Central CYC district
  • Lessons are on April 1, 8, and 15, times to be determined. Lesson locations are to be determined (most likely Tower Tee and/or Riverside).
  • Rounds will begin April 22 and will played on Saturdays or Sundays. Rounds will be played at several area courses
• Pods: Pods consist of 5-8 players; boys and girls are separated. Grades are separated as best as is possible, but 5th and 6th grade will always stay together and 7th and 8th grade will always stay together. Pods will be determined after registration is complete. Each pod will require a parent manager.
• Attire: Golf Team shirts will be required for Junior League play; cost to be covered by family
• Equipment: Golfer must provide own golf clubs and bag.
• All Junior League players AND a parent must complete the online rules and etiquette seminar, which can be found here.
