November 10, 2021Our 8th graders wore their class sweatshirts for the first time and took a leadership pledge after 8 a.m. Mass on Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021.
I promise to carry out the vision, mission, and purpose of SSP.I promise to lead with humility.I promise to accept responsibility and be accountable.I promise not to deceive or betray.I promise to do my best and bring excellence to each moment.I promise to lead with integrity and high standards.I promise to be transparent and trustworthy.I promise to be of service and supportive.I promise to do not what is easy but what is right.I promise to always have an open mind and an open heart.I promise to always remember that SSP is a place where God is actively present and our faith is always to be respected.
According to 8th grade homeroom teacher Daniel Schmitz: "The shirts are a special privilege given to our 8th grade leaders with the confidence that they will be great spiritual and academic leaders in our school. Congratulations, 8th grade. I know you will make us all proud."
