We have been hearing a lot about evangelization related to the All Things New activities. Perhaps you have some of the same questions I have, like “What do you mean by evangelization,” or “How do I do that?”
There is a half-day workshop called Evangelization 101 being offered in the next few months that will answer some of these and other questions and give you an opportunity to discuss evangelization with other members of the Archdiocese — members of a parish just like you.
I attended the session last week for parishioners from Planning Area 3, and it is well worth your time and effort to attend. In addition to input from the presenter, there were videos, small group discussion, and individual reflection. Here are a few excerpts from the workshop:
Evangelization is the foundation of who we are as Catholics.
The Church exists in order to evangelize.
Many feel they don’t have the knowledge and tools to evangelize.
I strongly encourage you to make this investment in your faith. If you have questions or would like to talk more about Evangelization 101, please contact me at 314-313-8575 or [email protected].
