Dear Parents, teachers, and friends of SSP School,
Happy Friday! Welcome to the weekend! We hope you’re one of the lucky ones who can enjoy an extended holiday break! Seeing the bright orange ball in the sky once again allowed us to go outside with the kids for the last few days. I was reading excerpts from the Board of Alderman meeting that civil servants were pleading with Mayor Jones to claim St. Louis was in a state of emergency. Many side streets in our area are snow-ice-packed mini skating rinks. While it displeases me to call snow days, much less multiple snow days, it was the right call! Thank you for collaborating with us to return to school safely and physically.
No School on Monday in Observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Congratulations to our new grandma, Mrs. June Tessin!
Finally, thank you to the SSP alums from the Class of 2021 (Bishop DuBourg Class of 2025) who spent the last two weeks in senior service. These young people were a pleasure to have around the campus once again, and we are grateful for their service. Thank you, Emily Faletti, Abby Shipp, Aidan Thode, and Jason Vu!
