Dear parents, teachers, parishioners, and friends of SSP School,

      Happy Friday, and welcome to the weekend.

      There will be a Noon Dismissal next Thursday, 10/24/24, and NO SCHOOL on Friday, 10/25/2024. Please plan accordingly.  Thank you for the opportunity to have a half day for faculty meetings and Self Improvement Process planning.  We know we live in an age where parents and many grandparents work. We understand how critical childcare is; we don’t take your sacrifices for granted.

      Mr. Steve Gaydo expressed his heartfelt gratitude for our NJHS and St. Vincent de Paul Food Drive. He told me that the food pantry has been low, no thanks to the economy, etc.  Thank you for your family's part in helping to restock the food pantry.

      The Lost and Found bucket is getting full now that the mercury is dipping, and children are bringing coats and jackets to school. The coats and jackets don’t always go home. Please stop by the office during parent-teacher conferences next Thursday (PM) and Friday (AM).

      We are looking for additional help with After-Care. The timeframe can be from 3 to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Shifts do not often last until 6 p.m., but it is there should parents need these services. Please get in touch with June Tessin or Mr. Sturgill if you are interested.
