Dear Parents, teachers, parishioners, and friends of SSP School,
Happy Halloween! We have an early publication of the (Friday) Notes because the school will not be in session tomorrow. We hope your children have a safe and memorable experience this evening. I understand 2,000+ revelers are expected for trick or treating! That’s a lot of sugared-up youth! I hope you have an enjoyable evening… rain, rain, stay away!
We have a shortened version of the NOTES this week… this weekend is an important one for those considering a Catholic/private high school. It is never too early (or late) to visit these higher education institutions. Sixth graders should start getting their toes in the pool. Eighth graders need to begin shoring up their final decisions. We have had some eighth graders returning from a shadow experience being less than enthusiastic in their initial high school choice. Private high school is an investment; an informed decision is required for the next four years of their academic careers. Many of our students thrive in the local public high schools, too. Don’t hesitate to contact us if we can assist you in this process.
Have a great Halloween, holy All Saints and All Souls Days, and a wonderful weekend.
