Dear parents, teachers, and friends of SSP School,
Besides the maintenance crew, I am alone in the hallow halls of SSP. It is eerily quiet and peaceful. Much hustle, bustle, and Christmas cheer was offered freely about 90 minutes ago.
I’ll keep this short. I hope you have the opportunity to have some time off and enjoy the company of family and friends. That is my wish for our dedicated teachers, too! They are encouraged to unplug, unwind, and recharge before the start of the second semester. Please give them that opportunity. Emails, I’m sure, will not be answered in a timely fashion. I will “unplug” (I know how to unplug effectively) and ready myself for the new year on Sunday evening, January 5th. If we have a true emergency, Fr. Aaron knows how to contact us. Before I close, continued prayers are requested for Anne Borgmeyer after successful surgery this week.
May the light of Christ fill your hearts with joy, hope, and peace as you celebrate Jesus's birth. May you find rest, renewal, and countless blessings during this sacred season of awe. May your days be filled with the warmth of family, the joy of giving, good health, happiness, and a renewed spirit. Merry Christmas on behalf of Fr. Aaron, Fr. Tim, Monsignor Bommarito (he sent his warm wishes during his visit today), the teachers, the support staff, and this humble principal!
