Dear parents, teachers, and friends of SSP School,

I was greeted with a wonderful thought this morning. A parent told me what a beautiful day for an Incarnation today. It was a little chilly this morning, and my thoughts were locked on to a prayer event scheduled several hours later in our day. As the sun peeked out later in the day, and as the school waited for the Angelus Bells to ring at noon, I smiled and said that parent was spot on this morning!

The school community prayed three Hails Marys in simultaneous prayer with millions and perhaps billions of people around the planet for a peaceful resolution for the war taking place in Ukraine. It was a powerful moment at SSP today.

Angelus Trivia: Historically Angelus (angel) Bells ring three times a day at 6:00, 12:00 & 18:00. Do you know the schedule for the SSP bell tower ringing?

Week one of the new situational masking plan was off to a very good start. Just a reminder, please make sure that your child has a mask on their person each day should we need to resort to a masking “situation.”  Mrs. Quinn will reveal what stage or color (green, yellow, or red) SSP School is at in her beginning of the week parent reminders. Spoiler alert: We are still GREEN heading into the weekend.

You will be seeing this line ad nauseam but it is an important reminder: APRIL 15, 2022 is the deadline to apply for parish financial aid.

Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
