I am happy to announce that we have hired a new Maintenance Manager for our parish: Jim Sciaroni! Jim has been connected to our community for many years, and we are grateful for him joining our team. It will be great to have his extensive expertise with building management to help us keep our many buildings in good condition.
I also wanted to let you know that Rodney Jones has completed his service with our parish. He’s been a wonderful Maintenance Technician, helping to care for the buildings and clients at Saint John the Baptist Parish. We’ve benefited many times from his years of experience. He said that resigning from his part-time work for our parish will let him focus on supporting the great things happening at St. Josephine Bakhita Parish with Fr. Mitch Doyen.
A few updates on our parish Communications Team. As we announced last week, Kate Mattoon, whom we were excited to have coming as our new communication manager, was surprised by God with a wonderful opportunity she could not pass up. So she won’t be joining our team and we wish her well.
Stephanie Wobbe has transitioned to a new role that looks like a great fit for her. If you see her, give her a big thank you for her fantastic work over the last five years. Stephanie, we are grateful!
In the weeks ahead, you can send bulletin items to Maggie Moody, our new editorial assistant ([email protected]). Ministry, organization, and event leaders can bring things that used to go to Stephanie to your staff point of contact, or to me.
