We have some fun events coming up! I hope you will join us.
On this Sunday, Sept. 15, we have our Quilt Bingo. Doors open at 11 a.m., and bingo starts at 1 p.m. The quilts are beautiful, and the atmosphere is joyful!
On Sept. 21-22, our annual rummage sale takes place at the IHM campus — all day Saturday and in the morning on Sunday. You can get something “New-to-You” and help our earth by reusing something instead of buying new. It’s a big fun event with great deals.
Later in the day on Sept. 21, we have our fall festival after the 4 p.m. Mass at SSP Church. It’s a relaxed BBQ hosted by the men of our Holy Name Society with great food and good conversation.
And also on Sept. 21, Serve Together is going to St. Anthony’s Food Pantry in Dutchtown. If you are looking for a way you can serve others, this is the opportunity for you! The community is great, and you’ll do practical things to help the poor. This is also a great opportunity for kids, so feel free to bring your grandchildren or children with you. It’s helpful if you register at www.sspstl.org/serve-together.
And finally, our program for people interested in becoming Catholic or receiving the sacraments for the first time will be starting soon. If that’s you, contact Deacon Dana at [email protected].
