The video by Fr. Chris Martin was thought-provoking to me. The other is the actual planning maps. The first map is an outline of the entire archdiocese. The other 15 are the preliminary planning area maps of the archdiocese with the individual parishes, churches, and schools noted. St. Stephen Protomartyr is in Planning Area #3. Parishes have been grouped together in these preliminary planning areas to foster initial conversations and brainstorming around what future collaboration might look like. These maps are preliminary and could change over time.
The second site consists of statistics and trends — some from 20 years ago, some since 1960. These include charts on the number of Catholics, baptisms, Catholic marriages, Catholic elementary school and PSR enrollment, Mass counts, number of diocesan priests, and diocesan priests and parishes.
If you have any questions please contact one of the Key Parish Leaders (Gary Stoff, Christy Biundo, Leigh Manalang, Brooks Goedeker, Andrew Rettig), Fr. Ron, or myself.
