I began working at St. Stephen in 2020. I am currently the 8th grade homeroom teacher and teach history and English composition to Grades 6-8.
I've been a Catholic school kid my entire life. I went to Assumption in South County, followed by high school at St. Mary's. After high school I attended Maryville University, where I graduated with a bachelor's degree in history and political science. More recently I earned my master's in education from Saint Louis University.
I married my wonderful wife in October, and we have a dog named Winston. He's a one-year-old goldendoodle, who is probably the kindest, sweetest gentleman you could ever meet.
When I'm not working I love to play with my dog and read nerdy novels and history books. I also collect vinyl albums just so I can check all the nerdy boxes.
I love teaching at St. Stephen and I completely adore the community that has been built around the parish and the school.
Favorite book: I have too many. I love The Last Kingdom, by Bernard Cornwell, and the Dresden Files series, by Jim Butcher.
Favorite movie:Blues Brothers
Favorite song: It's the song I'm using for my first dance at my wedding. (It's a surprise for my fiancee.) But for this purpose I will say "Digital Love," by Daft Punk.
