Cub Scouts & Boy Scouts

The Greater St. Louis Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, provides educational programs that build character, teach participatory citizenship and develop personal fitness.

The Cub Scout program at SSP is for boys in grades K-5. Boys are grouped by Dens, including Lions, Tigers, Wolf, Bears, and Webelos.

The Boy Scout program at SSP is for boys in grades 6-8 and into high school. Boys 11 years old regardless of grade can join the Boy Scout program, or they may join after completing the fifth grade. Boys do not need to be a Cub Scout to join the Boy Scout program.

Information on joining the Cub Scout or Boy Scout programs can be obtained by contacting Michael Lohff at 314-591-9575 or by email at m.lohff@att.net.

Girl Scouts

Girl Scouting is for every girl, everywhere—where today’s girls can become tomorrow’s leaders.

Membership in Girl Scouts is open to girls in grades K-12; women and men over the age of 17 can join as adult members. Girls join for fun and friendship, but they also learn about building character and self-esteem and serving their communities — the core qualities of Girl Scouting. In partnership with committed adults, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives -– strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self-worth.

Information on joining the Girl Scout program can be obtained by contacting Angie Peters by email at ang63116@yahoo.com.
